Magic the Gathering: Regional Qualifiers - Season 5 Round 1

White Rabbit Game Emporium is hosting Season 5 - Round 1 Regional Qualifiers for The United States Regional Championship!

On May 16, 2026, up to 24 players will compete for first place. The winner will earn an invitation to the United States Regional Championship, featuring a $100,000 prize pool, 32 Pro Tour Invitations, and Two Invitations to the Magic: The Gathering World Championships.

The Qualifier round played at White Rabbit will use the Limited format, using sealed boosters from the Edge of Eternities set. In the first round, Players will receive 6 booster packs each, and use them to create a 40+ size deck to play against each other, in best 2-of-3 matches. The top eight players from this first set will then go on to a single-elimination draft tournament with a new set of boosters.

All players will earn a special Ancient Stirrings Promo. The top eight will earn a Sowing Mycospawn promo. The overall winner will earn a Foil Sowing Mycospawn promo card and an invitation to the Regional Championships.

Estimated timeline:

10:00am - 10:45am: registration & rules review
10:45am - 11:30am: deck building
11:30pm - 12:20pm: Round 1
12:30pm - 1:20pm: Round 2
1:30pm - 2pm: Break
2:00pm - 2:50pm: Round 3
3:00pm - 3:50pm: Round 4
4:00pm: Swiss rounds over; announce top 8; distribute prizes for first half
4:15pm - 5:00pm: Break
5:00pm - 8pm: Draft
8:00pm: Announce Winners
